Learning to use Photoshop and Illustrator

When starting the course I had only used Photoshop minimally and was very unsure on how to create a poster using the software and I had not used Illustrator at all before. Whilst first using the softwares I found it very difficult to do even the easiest of tasks and trying to create a poster at this stage with a lack of knowledge on how to use the softwares wasn't benefitting me in the slightest. Therefore I decided to watch a few instruction videos into how to use each software and started experimenting with some of my poster ideas. Over the past few weeks I have become much more comfortable with both Photoshop and Illustrator, which is reflected through my poster designs and other pieces of work in my portfolio which will be looked at later on in the blog.
